"The Future of the Automotive Industry from an International Perspective - Opportunities for Eastern Germany" - an exciting topic that will be discussed at the 3rd ACOD Conference in the Congress Center Leipzig on February 17 and 18, 2010.

On February 17, all registered participants will be able to take part in the guided plant tours at Porsche Leipzig GmbH, BMW Werk Leipzig GmbH or Leipzig's Kunststoff-Zentrum (Plastics Centre) before the official opening ceremony of the accompanying event which will be held later that afternoon. 

Moreover, you will be welcomed by national and regional government officials and representatives of VDA (Association of Germany's Automobile Industry) and ACOD (Automotive Cluster Eastern Germany) at the ACOD Conference in 2010. Afterwards, we will conclude the first day of events together with a pleasant dinner.

On February 18, you will be able to hear interesting presentations by prominent politicians, industry representatives and scientists as well as gather information in the areas that specifically interest you in your individual specialists forums or take part in lively discussions with experts in your areas of interest. In this context, there are six forums that cover light-weight construction, interiors, subcontracting industry, internationalization, power train and electronics/electrical systems with a broad range of essential topics that are relevant for the automobile industry.

Between the individual events you will have the opportunity to learn more about the innovative strength and expertise of eastern Germany's subcontracting industry in the accompanying exhibition.
In cooperation with the Leipziger Messe, we will also offer you the opportunity to develop new contacts that are important for your business in business meetings.

All other participants pay: EUR 350.00 for the first person (plus sales tax), EUR 175.00 for second person and more (plus sales tax).
